SOL BASE 2300 is very affordable in fact when compared to other parabolic solar grills on the market in the same heat range.
The SOL BASE 2300 solar grill was designed to help popularize solar grilling by overcoming two common problems:
(tax charged only to NYS residents)
The SOL BASE 2300 parabolic solar grill comes with an adjustable 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" light gauge stainless steel grill, product manual, and versatile heat-absorbing foil wrap (see Product Details page for additional information)
SOL BASE 2300
SOL - the sun - but also a play on "one and only". BASE - a source of supply - but also a "point of beginning".
The SOL BASE 2300 solar grill is resourcefully designed to be inexpensive, light in weight and portable while still delivering heating power comparable to or exceeding that of high-end parabolic solar grills on the market (approximately 2300 watts max - see below). SOL BASE 2300 can heat food items faster than smaller-sized parabolic grills (and much faster than solar ovens). Its wide diameter (almost 6 feet across) captures more sunlight for higher power output, yet it folds down for compact storage or light/efficient transportation (see Product Details page).
The SOL BASE 2300 solar cooker's parabolic reflector is oriented towards the sun by means of a directional control handle with pushbutton locking feature - allowing both smooth altitude and incremented azimuth settings. The removable main reflector center section (disc reflector, support post and grill stirrup) allows for passage of optional user-provided grill support configurations (Graber Grill, etc.) in applications involving heavier cookware, while other custom configurations are also possible.

Maximum power output calculation is based on a Peak Solar Intensity value of 1 kW/m² at sea level. Increases in atmospheric interference and latitude/declination will result in reduced maximum output (increases in altitude above sea level will partly offset these reductions).
